God planted a seed in my heart in January.
A seed to know Him and make Him known.A tiny seed to He began to water each day as I came to Him in His Word, hungry to know truth and to be set free from the ways of this world. As He has watered the seed, He has changed me in the process. The vision of Life Lived Beautifully is not to be a business, but to be a ministry that meets women right where they are everyday with the truth and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to make products that are tools for women to use. Each tool is prayed over and carefully chosen. As God has watered us each day with the gospel, He has continued to sharpen the focus of Life Lived Beautifully to be solely on the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is why I create, why I blog, why I Instagram, and why I make journals.
The vision for this year and every product we make comes from Isaiah 58:11 – “And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” How amazing is that? If you are reading this and feel weary, dry, and empty, know that this promise is for you. There is no freedom from the drought of our hearts apart from Jesus. That is what it means to be a well-watered woman! I have a vision to see women across the world coming before the Lord each day, kissing the feet of Jesus, and hungering after Him more than anything this world could offer! I see women all over lifting holy hands in adoration and worship to God alone. I rejoice at the thought of young girls choosing to follow Jesus and not the patterns culture sets out for them. It makes my heart leap knowing that God is in this!
The tiny seed God has planted in my heart continues to grow each day. Each new product we have added to the shop and will continue to add this year is merely a branch coming off of the vine. It is an offering of praise to our God. In March we introduced the new Give Me Jesus journals as well as a study on the Proverbs 31 woman. We are excited to share three new products with you today that we pray remind you to live as well-watered women!
Be Still And Know Memory Journal
The Be Still and Know Memory journal has been in the making for a long time. For years and years I have longed to memorize Scripture. In college, I made countless notecards that I carried with me everywhere. Over the years the notecards have scattered, but the truths have remained in my heart. The vision behind this journal was to make something durable that women could take with them everywhere to hide God’s truth in their heart. The notebook is 3 x 5 and can fit in your pocket if you are walking, in your purse when you are running errands, or stand in your kitchen as you are cooking dinner. It is filled with 50 pages to be filled up with Scripture to memorize and meditate on! Psalm 119:15-16 says “I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.” This vision for this journal is that women would carry God’s Word with them everywhere, meditate on it, fix their eyes on Jesus, and live out the gospel each day!
Grace Upon Grace Journal
The new Grace Upon Grace journal was inspired by John 1:16 – “For from his fullness we have all received grace upon grace.” At every hour and moment of the day, we are need of the grace of God. His grace never runs out and we have all received it in fullness! After I created the Give Me Jesus journal, I wanted to create another journal to use throughout the day after my quiet time. In creating this journal, I wanted there to be a reminder on it of God’s matchless grace that holds us together! This journal has 160 lined pages for you to use for sermon notes, list making, grocery shopping, prayer journaling, or any other thing you need a journal for! I have already started using mine throughout the day and love having this reminder! It is 5.5 x 8.5 and has sturdy, thick pages for you to write on the inside. We pray this journal blesses you!
Proverbs 31:25 Coffee Mug
I am an avid coffee and tea drinker. Each morning when I rise, I go straight to the coffee pot to fill up my cup and spend time in the Word of God. We have made two mugs for the shop that we pray point women first to Jesus, whether at the beginning of their day, the middle, or the end. The Be Still and Know mug came out last fall to remind women that their strength comes from knowing the Lord and not the coffee in their mug. This mug will be back in the shop in May! The new mug for this summer is going to be a limited edition! As we have studied the Proverbs 31 woman together, I keep going back to Proverbs 31:25 – “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future.” I long for us to be women who smile at the future because we know who our God is! This mug has the woman who is drawn on the front of the study on the right side of the mug and on the back is has “she smiles at the future.” We pray this verse reminds you of Philippians 4:4 – to rejoice at all times, pray without ceasing, and fear the Lord! That is what it means to smile at the future! These mugs are also great gifts for Mother’s Day or reminders for women that you mentor.
