Ever had a hard time studying Scripture? Trust me—I know that opening the Bible to study can be overwhelming, daunting, and confusing. I grew up in the church, but even going into my college years I didn’t know how to study the Bible. I thought only authors, preachers, and Bible teachers could study Scripture and understand it! God took a wrecking ball to this belief a few years ago when He prompted my heart to create the “Give Me Jesus” Journal to encourage and equip women to study God’s Word. Since the launch of the first journal four years ago, thousands of women all over the world have come together in the Well-Watered Women community to study God’s Word and seek Jesus.
However, we still heard from many of you that the open format of the journal can be overwhelming. Our mission is to do all we can to make disciples of Jesus Christ and create Bible study tools to propel you to live for His glory. We wanted to create a new series of resources to give you even more direction on how to open a book of the Bible and study a passage of Scripture for yourself, and we have some new additions to these resources to share with you!
Today we are releasing the Philippians “Walk in Grace” journal! This journal guides you through studying the whole book of Philippians. It has been designed to walk you through this book of the Bible using a similar format to the “Give Me Jesus” Journal, but it also adds in specific directions for each day’s reading, and instruction on how to study the Bible. Walk in Grace Philippians Journal:
Read and study the entire book of Philippians in this six-week study, five days a week. You’ll read the book in its entirety, dig into the context and purpose of the letter, then break apart every verse for further study!
“Walk in Grace Daily” Sticker:
The purpose of this phrase is to remind you that you have received grace and freedom in Christ, but you are to walk forward in His plans and purposes for your life rather than sitting stagnant in them. You’ll find three questions on the back of each card that will help you break down the verse and meditate on that particular Scripture.
