Shop and Support Kupendwa Ministries!

March 17, 2017  - By Well-Watered Women

Last year, the Lord began laying on mine and Gretchen’s heart a desire to help support a ministry through Life Lived Beautifully. We began praying and asking God for wisdom in choosing a ministry, and He led us to Kupendwa Ministries. The director and founder of the ministry, Amy Washington, is a friend from college, who loves Jesus with all of her heart and desires to share the Gospel with women in Uganda. Their focus is on both meeting the physical needs of young women in Uganda who find themselves in crisis pregnancies and the spiritual needs of these women as well. Their maternity home gives women and their babies a place to live, provides medical care for them, provides educational and vocational training and most importantly, shares the good news of Jesus Christ with them.

A portion of every dollar spent in our shop always goes to support Kupendwa Ministries, but today and tomorrow, March 17th & 18th, 100% of proceeds will go to support this wonderful Christ-centered ministry. If you’ve had your eye on anything from the shop, this is the time to buy!

Read more about their ministry here and follow us on Facebook or Instagram this weekend as we share stories about some of the women whose lives have been changed through Kupendwa Ministries.
