Our mission is to equip women to know Christ fully through the Word of God and apply the glory of the gospel to everyday life. Through creating Bible study tools, we aim to sharpen women’s focus, mission, and purpose as we set our eyes on Jesus. We believe that putting the Word before the world will arm women with what they need to live life from a place of victory and abundance through Jesus.
I wish I had learned much earlier in life that overcommitment can be a sin. Sometimes we put good before God, and we assume that something good is definitely what we are supposed to do. When we jump into a commitment headfirst without even prayerfully consulting God, we can find our plate completely full—even overflowing—and all of a sudden we are unable to
When we were first married, my husband and I, like many young couples, had opposite expectations for many things. When our first anniversary rolled around, he wanted to go camping but I wanted to go to Malibu. When buying items for our first Christmas, he grabbed the colored Christmas lights and I grabbed the white. And, my personal favorite: sickness for him means three days in bed, stocking up on boxed soup with freeze-dried noodles,
When we are walking alongside the Lord and seeking His will for our lives, the fruit of the Holy Spirit will be present. One of the fruit that results is joy. Paul mentions joy early on in listing the fruit of the Spirit: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22–23) What is joy? Joy is an emotion that is a result of the Holy
Last week I was at home cooking dinner while a summer storm brewed outside my kitchen window. Usually I love thunderstorms, but this particular storm was so strong that it only took a few minutes before we lost power. With the lights off and the wifi down, I was forced to sit and simply be still.
“You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you. I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father.” (John 15:14–15, TPT) Obedience. It’s something that we (hopefully) have learned and practiced since childhood. Parents, teachers, and coaches alike condition children to obey through rewards and recognition. I don’t know about you, but I was a fairly compliant child. Except when I wasn’t.
I grew up in a loving home and am blessed with two parents who deeply love God and each other. My father is also a pastor. There are a myriad of reactions I get when this comes up in conversation—mostly knowing looks, sometimes sympathetic ones. I told this to one woman who turned to my friend (now husband) and said I probably had an inclination to rebellion.

"The entire breadth of the community has been uplifting and a consistent source of tangible grace since I discovered Well-Watered Women. Through Instagram, I’ve been given constant reminders through both my feed and the stories that regularly speak to me directly. Through the community page on Facebook, I’ve found a place of encouragement and prayers, but also a refuge for other women and watching people open up in such an open forum is so refreshing and just a reminder of God’s goodness in the day to day that tends to feel mundane."

"The Well-Watered Women social media is so incredibly encouraging... it is a reminder that sometimes it is hard to get our priorities right (thank you for not pretending that it is easy), but also encouraged in the overwhelming value of making our time of study and prayer our highest priority! Not only have I been impacted, but I have been more consistent with my Word before World with my 8 year old daughter and we are BOTH growing because of it. Thank you!"

"On January 1st, I started using the Colossians Walk in Grace Journal. It was the perfect resource for showing me how to study God's Word, what questions to ask and how to start a relationship with my Father. After the Colossians journal, I started the Ephesians Walk in Grace Journal. I have fallen more in love with God, I know who He is and who I am in Christ, and I have a desire to know more of Him and to tell others about Him."

"I have been doing a group Study out of the Flourish book and am personally going through the book on Proverbs 31. They have been such a HUGE help to me. They have helped the Holy Spirit show me what needs to be set aside in my life so that HE can properly use me. I am so grateful for these studies, they have been great tools in my walk with God personally. They have also brought so many ladies together in true biblical fellowship, centered around the WORD of God instead of the meaningless distractions of this world."

"My girlfriends & I were feeling disconnected from community and the word and our identities as daughters of the King...we decided to try out the Redefined study. We are in the thick of it right now and week 1 of gathering we were already letting walls down, being convicted of things, shedding light on places of hurt that we didn't realize still existed. It's just been a really great time of getting real with each other, ourselves, and the Lord."
