Tomorrow we begin studying through the book of Colossians following the outline of the Walk In Grace journal. The next five weeks are a chance to dig deeply into the Word of God and walk in the grace we receive through following Christ.
Our prayer is that the time spent in the pages of Scripture would challenge us to be women who love Jesus more than this world. We pray that the words found in Colossians would be an encouragement to weary hearts and would challenge us to grow in grace by abiding daily with the Lord.
If you don’t have the journal, you can still follow along with us in the next five weeks. We’ll post each week on Sunday night the outline for the next five days. You will find the breakdown of scripture and a few questions for each day to journal through. This first week we will spend time looking at the reason why we study scripture and why Bible study is so essential in the life of the believer!

Colossians | Week One
Day One: Read the entire book of Colossians. We recommend printing a version of the four chapters without chapter or verse references and reading through like a letter (which is how it was written initially). This double-spaced version will give you room to take notes or write down any observations, thoughts or questions. You can print the PDF of Colossians here. Write down your initial observations of what this book is about.
Day Two: Read the entire book of Colossians. Make your own outline of the book of Colossians.
Day Three: Read the entire book of Colossians. Notice key words and repeated phrases. Write these down as you go.
Day Four: Read the entire book of Colossians, Acts 8:1-3 and Acts 9:1-31. Study the context of Colossians. What was happening during this time? Who is the writer? Who was he writing to?
Day Five: Read the entire book of Colossians once more. Write down the author’s purpose in writing this book.
Week One Recap and Scripture Memory
Memorize: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Summarize: Write your own summary statement of the book of Colossians.
Is there a way to get a copy PED with KJV translation?
Where can i find the videos of each day & week of this study? Is there a Facebook group specifically for women who want to follow along & study the Word? If not, that would be awesome! 😁 It would be great if women could encourage each other in the group & share their notes & learn & grow together as a community!
