Last year I had the worst habit of waking up and scrolling on my phone first thing. I knew it wasn’t good for my soul, but I did in anyway. The warmth of my covers somehow lured me into staying “just a few minutes longer,” and my time with Jesus started to suffer. To be […]

Edwards began each of these resolutions with the simple word “resolved…” Resolve means to […]

That itch in your heart to live for something greater was put there for a reason. It isn’t to add more to your resume. It isn’t to make your name famous or accumulate wealth. It is impossible to fulfill on your own. The big dreams we have in our heart were meant to point us to Christ and to magnify him. John 15:5 is a reminder of this from Jesus: “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Apart from Christ we cannot fulfill our dreams and live abundantly. God created us with big dreams to teach us our need for Him, to show us that our life is about Him and to give us an opportunity to glorify Him when he makes them happen.

I know the holidays are busy and time alone with Jesus is hard to come by…but that doesn’t mean we have to go through the holidays far from Him. We’ve got to fight for time with Him, and be flexible with what that looks like each day. Here are a few ways I fight for […]

I’ve walked through a lot of Thanksgivings struggling to be truly grateful, with my eyes set on the temporary and not the eternal. If you’re in the same boat, struggling to […]

For the past three years I’ve been on an unexpected journey of being a “mamaprenuer”. In my own definition, a mamaprenuer is a stay-at-home mama who is at the same time an entrepreneur or business owner. She not only balances caring for a home and children, but she also regularly maintains a business (whether a […]

I keep reminding myself of this as I glance around at our deconstructed home. Boxes are currently surrounding me and my house looks as if a tornado hurled through it. These are the […]

<img src=”https://wellwateredwomen.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/dropout.jpg” alt=”” /> I’ve heard it too many times to count. Statements such as: “I’m a failure at Bible study…” “I just don’t understand anything when I read my Bible…” “Bible study just isn’t for me…” “I never finish a Bible study. I get discouraged by the middle of it and just set it […]
