Lights low, coffee brewing, blanket ready, Bible open, journal and pen waiting…the makings of what I used to think were the perfect quiet time. In June I entered a new season of motherhood and found that my “quiet time” rarely looked this perfect anymore. I had to fight for it. I had to force myself to open my Bible and journal most days. Since becoming a mama, I’ve struggled with the concept of a “quiet” time since my mornings and days rarely are quiet. I can count on one hand the number of mornings I’ve had that could be considered “quiet” since my son was born. But God is teaching me that just because my quiet times are messy and often filled with noise, they are no less beautiful than they used to be.
The Fall Collection is here!
The purpose of the “Give Me Jesus Journal” is to provide a meeting place for you to come with your Bible, a pen and an open heart. Devotionals, Bible studies and books are incredible resources, but the words of man will never compare or give life to the heart like the words of God do. In high school I did my first Beth Moore study and it changed my life. I didn’t realize how much treasure was in the Bible! Beth Moore inspired me to know Jesus like she did. If she could read Scripture and glean so much truth from it, then I knew with the Holy Spirit in me, I could as well. And you can, too!

The love of Christ compels us to write, to sing, and to share endless amounts of words that never truly wrap up the magnitude of His glory.
It still amazes me that today we launch the new spring Give Me Jesus Journals. It was just one year ago this month that the Lord began to stir in my heart the vision for the journal. Last May we had the first version of the journal in hand and sold out of the order within one hour. I had absolutely no idea what God would do with these journals and God-sized dream. It began as a tiny mustard seed of faith that God planted and is continuing to water to grow into a garden for His glory! With my knees to the floor and my hands lifted high to the Lord in praise, I am excited to partake in the gospel of grace with you as we study God’s Word together!
It is with great joy that I am able to share the new Life Lived Beautifully Christmas Collection! Each product has been intentionally designed and created to point your heart to Christ. I don’t believe that we have to have beautiful journals in our homes to know Jesus, but I pray that the Lord uses the […]
Reading: Ruth 1:1-2 Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love… Do you feel it? Our wandering hearts are quick to go to and fro, from one thing to another in this life. In an instant, we grab hold of what seems comfortable or secure, only to realize once […]
This blog post was written by my sister, Kara Holmes. It describes perfectly the reason why this journal is called the Give Me Jesus Journal! In the morning when I rise, In the morning when I rise, In the morning when I rise, Give me Jesus, I stirred. The dim lights of the hospice room […]
