In Every Season
The Bible is anything but boring. The first time I read through the Bible chronologically, I found myself in awe of God’s work of redemption. It strengthened my faith, sparked my passion, and stirred in me a desire to share the hope of the gospel. Reading the Bible from start to finish helped me to better grasp the overarching narrative. I saw the consistency of God’s character, the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the threads of hope woven in every book. The Bible is one story showcasing God’s glory.
As I’ve journaled the Word over the years, a desire has continued to grow in my heart to be a Well-Watered Woman of the Word. One who is rooted in truth, growing in grace, and flourishing in faith. I don’t want to just own a Bible; I want to know my Bible. And I don’t want to just read my Bible every so often; I want to study my Bible and to live out what Scripture teaches. God’s Word is not meant to sit on a shelf to collect dust but to be cherished, studied, and obeyed.
This is why we’ve created the In Every Season Journal Set. It will walk you through reading the entire Bible chronologically. Our goal behind this set of journals is to create a space for you to record what you learn about God and the gospel as you read through the Word from start to finish. Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” The Well-Watered Woman stores the unfailing Word in her heart. She knows God has provided everything she needs to grow, bloom, and flourish in every season of life.
In Every Season Journal Set FAQs
What’s included in this journal set?
The set comes with four hardcover journals inside a beautiful keepsake sleeve. This four-volume set contains 365 days’ worth of journaling as you read through the Bible chronologically from Genesis to Revelation. The front of each journal set also includes:
- How to use the journal in daily Bible study
- How to study with gospel glasses
- The canon of Scripture divided into genres, with the books you’ll study in that journal highlighted
- An overview of the reading plan
How are the journals formatted?
We used a one-year chronological Bible reading plan to format the journals to help you grasp the overarching narrative of the Bible. Each of the volumes contains 90–92 days’ worth of journaling space. In the back of each one, you’ll find a section to record “What I Learned About God and the Gospel In ______” for each book of the Bible you read through within that journal.
Do I need any other resources?
All you really need is your Bible and journal! But we’ve also formatted these journals to follow the reading plan for The Bible Recap book and podcast by Tara-Leigh Cobble. These resources can help you dive deeper into each day’s reading with a focus on learning about God from his Word.
What is the daily layout like?
Each day you’ll be prompted to read about three chapters of the Bible. Then you have space to fill out a condensed two-page version of the layout you’re used to using in the Give Me Jesus Journal:
- the date, time, and place of your study,
- a “Grateful For” section to start your study with praise,
- the “Drink Deeply From the Well” section to take notes and record what you learn from that day’s passage,
- a “Key Verse” section to help you remember the main point,
- and a “Pray the Word” section to close out your study in prayer.
Are the journals dated?
The journals are undated so you can begin your study anytime and read through at your own pace. Know that you don’t have to complete all four journals in just one year! The point is not to finish them within a certain amount of time, but rather to consistently be reading all of God’s Word with the goal of knowing him more.
Will there be any discounts or promotions available?
Today through November 29, the journal set is on sale for $75 in the Well-Watered Co.!
Drink deeply from the Well of God’s unchanging truth. May your eyes be opened to see the threads of redemption that are woven together in every book of the Bible as you read the Word…in every season.
